Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This policy explains how Ashbourne Projects Ltd collects and uses personal information when you contact us or use this website. We keep it short and only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services.

Who we are

Ashbourne Projects Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16810743, with our registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZC115771. You can contact us about this policy at info@ashbourneprojects.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form or by email, we collect:

  • your name and email address
  • the type and location of your project
  • anything else you choose to tell us in your message

If you become a client, we also hold the information needed to deliver and invoice the work, such as your address, project details and correspondence.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and discuss your project
  • to prepare proposals, quotations and contracts
  • to deliver our services and manage the project
  • to keep proper business and financial records

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Our lawful basis

We use your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, to meet our legal obligations (for example, accounting and tax records), and for our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information where needed to run our business, for example with our website hosting and email providers, our accountants, and consultants or contractors working on your project. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client and project records are kept for up to 7 years after a project ends, to meet our legal and contractual obligations.

Cookies

This website only uses cookies that are needed for it to work properly. Our hosting provider also collects basic technical data, such as page load times, to keep the site running smoothly. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@ashbourneprojects.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
